Chashabneyah E. Poole is the first born son to Ryan and Dana Poole.  His name Chashabneyah pronounced ( Ka shab knee ya) is of Hebrew origin and can be translated as "God has a plan."  He was born into an Adventist family and was baptized at the Oakwood University Church at the tender age of 12. Chashab has 3 younger siblings that he regularly helps care for in our home. Chashab has been homeschooled most of his life. He briefly attended Oakwood Elementary, Madison Cross Elementary and Sparkman Middle School all in the greater Huntsville AL area.In 2011, The Poole home in Alabama was hit by a tornado while Dana and all of the children were inside of the house. The house was completely destroyed and

He briefly attended Oakwood Elementary, Madison Cross Elementary and Sparkman Middle School all in the greater Huntsville AL area.In 2011, The Poole home in Alabama was hit by a tornado while Dana and all of the children were inside of the house. The house was completely destroyed and as a result we moved to the DMV area.  Upon moving here Chashab entered Takoma Academy as a freshman.  As a freshman Chashab’s musical talent afforded him an invitation to Camerata the advanced school choir usually reserved for upperclassmen.Chashab was also a CommonWeal scholarship recipient.

CommonWeal is an independent organization that works with promising young students based on several factors, community service and or school employment being one of them.  He has met all their requirements for both years.

He as been asked to sing for several of the visiting school presenters and solo’s with the choir.  He was also a part of the school praise and worship team and DEEP ( praise dance team.)  He has a dream and desire to fully use his musical talent for the Lord.

Chashab has also played on the Soccer Team and Track Team. He has served as worship leader in Sligo Underground the weekly worship service for the youth and young adults at Sligo SDA Church and part of the youth choir at Community Praise Center. Chashab is raising funds to complete his freshman year of college.  Please help him reach his goal of $20,000
